Does Teleport count as a move in Frosthaven?

No. Teleport is not movement, so nothing on the path matters — but whatever is in the hex you land on still happens.

Teleport X puts a figure in any hex within X hexes without checking the path. Walls, figures and obstacles in between are irrelevant, so you cannot be blocked.

The rulebook is explicit that teleport is not a move ability and that teleporting is not considered movement. Effects that trigger on movement do not fire.

The destination is different: any effect of entering that hex still triggers normally. Teleport onto a trap and you take the trap. You also cannot teleport into an unrevealed room, though you can teleport to a closed door and open it.

“A teleport ability is not considered a move ability, and teleporting is not considered movement. … any effects of entering that hex still trigger normally.”
